When I was in the US I got to meet Tim O' Reilly - I went up to him and said "Hi, I really enjoyed your talk. I though I would come up and shake your hand so that when I am back in a pub in London I can say I met you". There where other people standing around and somewhere in the conversation he mentioned that he spoke to a biologist previous day who told him - "there are about ten times as many bacteria as human cells in the body"

I said "well, thats just like answers (meaning answers.yahoo.com has a lot of crap content)". The point he was making is that its ok to have lots of crap, so long as you have powerful filters to bring the good content to the surface (this is a concept from the long tail).
